FARA Radio Nets
FARA 2 Meter Net – general interest net
A directed net that meets weekly on Monday evenings at 19:30 local time, on the FARA 2 meter repeater, 146.655 MHz (- 600 kHz offset), 88.5 Hz PL. All hams are welcome. Net control is Don, N1JCT. If Don is unable to make the net, anyone can jump in and act as control. If the repeater is unavailable for any reason, use 146.655 simplex.
FARA 6 Meter Net – general interest net
A directed net that meets weekly on Wed. at 19:00 local time, on the N1YHS 6 meter repeater, 53.010 MHz (-1.0 MHz offset), 173.8 PL tone. All hams are welcome.
Cape and Islands ARES Net (Amateur Radio Emergency Service)
A directed net, the ARES 2m net is held every Wed. at 20:00 local time on the K1PBO (146.955 MHz, -0.6 MHz offset, PL tone 88.5) repeater.
Upper Cape ARES Simplex Nets - (No repeater used, directed nets)
The 2 Meter simplex net meets the 3rd Thursday at 20:00 local time on 146.580MHz
The 440 MHz simplex net meets the 3rd Thursday after the 2 Meter net on 446.250 MHz
Cape and Islands Traffic Net
A directed net, the Cape and Islands Traffic Net is held Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 19:30 on the N1YHS repeater (147.375 MHZ , -0.6 MHz offset, PL tone 110.9). If the N1YHS repeater is not available, please QSY to the 2 meter K1RK repeater (146.655 MHz, -0.6 MHz offset, PL tone 88.5).
Alphabet Net – general interest net
An informal net that meets every weekday from 06:30 to 07:30 on the N1YHS repeater (147.375 MHz, +0.6MHz offset, PL tone 110.9). All check-ins are welcome.
900 Thursdays – promoting the use of 900 MHz
An informal net, every Thursday, anytime during the day, check into the 900 MHz K1RK repeater (902.0625 MHz, -25.7875 MHz offset, PL tone 88.5), connected to the NEAR-900 Net.
Whitman 900 Net - general interest net
Whitman ARC hosts a Thursday night 900 MHz net at 8 PM on 927.6875 MHz, PL 131.8
FARA 10 Meter Group – general interest group
An informal group, every day at 11:00, on 28.411 MHz. If you listen and don't hear anyone, transmit your call, as someone may be listening for a call. All hams are welcome.
