FARA ARRL Field Day Information

ARRL Field Day is the most popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada. On the fourth weekend of June, more than 35,000 radio amateurs gather with their clubs, groups or simply with friends to operate from remote locations. FARA sets up a variety of equipment and antennas for each annual ARRL Field Day event.

FARA operators cover several bands and modes, scoring well among clubs of our size.  A cook-out is held in conjunction with field day.  In 2024, we operated on June 22-23 from the Morse Pond School on Jones Road in Falmouth.  We used our communications trailer with generator power, operating SSB (voice) and CW (Morse Code).

The public is always welcome and encouraged to attend.  We always have a Get On The Air (GOTA) station available for the public to make radio contacts.  Check FARA Field Day 2024 for more information on our operation.
