FARA Fest is held annually at the Upper Cape Cod Regional Vocational School. The Fest provides and opportunity for local hams to buy, sell, or swap items of interest to amateur radio operators. VE license exam sessions are also held as part of the Fest. Flyers are distributed and available on this site prior to each annual FARA Fest.
The Board of Directors has set the following official guidelines for FARA FEST.
Outside Spaces are $10.00 per space. All vendors will be given a placard to display, bring your own table.
Indoor spaces are $10.00 per TABLE, we supply the table. All vendors will be given a placard to display.
General admission is $5.00, children under 14 free
NO ADULT MATERIAL, KNIVES OR WEAPONS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY
VIOLATORS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY WITH NO REFUNDS
FARA Club Table
The FARA Club table is there to make money for the club. Items on the table will consist of:
Donated items - These are items donated to the club for sale. 100% of the sale price goes to the club treasury. All sales are final, no returns.
Consignment items - These items are consigned to the club for sale. The club will take 20% of the gross amount received and return the balance to the consignor. Please limit the number of consignment items to one or two items per member and consignee must take responsibility for sale and any warranty. Items must be plainly labeled with price, condition (works, as is, etc.), and owners name and call sign.
Anyone selling any items other than food at the FARA FEST must pay for a table space or donate 20% of their sales from the consignment area.
You are strongly encouraged to purchase a table space if you plan to sell!
Volunteer badges are required for specific volunteer jobs. Volunteers must spend their time working at the FARA FEST - there is plenty to do!
